Did You Know....
... That clothes dried outside smell better because of photolysis?
The sunlight breaks down compounds that cause odour.
Excellent! Maybe that's why I hang my clothes outside? In the summer, anyway. But they aren't always hung in the sun. I always thought it was because they smelled better, but more importantly, I don't have a dryer. I think dryers are energy suckers and they damage the clothes so they don't last as long. Since I hate to go shopping because it's dangerous to my health, I want my clothes to last as long as possible.
Well when we have rain everyday the clothes can't get dried at all. So it's the dryer during those times. And also during bad bouts of haze. If not the clothes will be out in the sun! How I love the smell of sun-dried laundry. :)
