1. 250gm of black eye peas (washed and soaked overnight in a bowl of water)
2. 1 whole chicken (cut into 4 parts and skin-less)
3. Water
4. Sea-salt

1. Put the peas and the whole chicken into a very large pot.
2. Fill the pot with water until the chicken is submerged.
3. Boil for 2 hours.
4. Add sea-salt to taste.
5. Serve the soup hot.
