Powdered Buckwheat Drink



Ingredients:

1. 1 tablespoon of buckwheat powder (grounded buckwheat groats)
2. 1/2 teaspoon of cacao powder
3. 250ml of hot water

-----------------------------

1. Pour buckwheat and cacao powder into mug.
2. Pour hot water into mug and stir.

Bon appetit!


*It takes some getting used to drinking without sugar. You can add dates, honey or maple syrup if you're not used to it!

    1. Not really. It's just that I miss having hot drinks. And I can't have Milo and etc. Soya bean milk triggers IBS reactions from Hades. So I've been figuring what to drink. Sometimes the cravings are bad to the point I can taste 'forbidden' drinks in my mouth and can even smell them in the air!!!

    2. I guess hot water doesn't do it for you. No herbal teas?

      I think it would be difficult coming from a culture that drinks tea daily to having nothing. I've never been a tea or coffee drinker.
