We had a 9-day school break. I could catch up on sleep. And we had a few outings which were exceedingly fun!
Thursday - 15th of March 2012
This was the first day of the 4th Hot Air Balloon Fiesta 2012 at Putrajaya. I cooked my food the night before and kept them in the freezer after it cooled down.
I got up at 4am, boiled rice and reheated the frozen meal. Packed them, got ready and we left at 6am! By the time we arrived at Putrajaya, it was 6.30am and we were number 70 in queue! The first person must have camped there overnight!!! This queue was for the tickets for the tethered hot air balloon rides. Price: RM10 per person.
Once we had our tickets, we watched the balloons take off into the sky.

ReplyDelete300 for the morning rides and 300 for the evening rides! :)
ReplyDeleteWhen you say "rides" do you get to go up in the balloons?
DeleteYup! They are tethered rides. But it goes quite high up. I'll put up pictures of views from the balloon in the air.
