Fusion Fried Rice/Bee Hoon

Ingredients:

1. 250gm of brown rice beehoon (soaked to softened)
2. 2 cups of sushi rice (cooked and set aside to cool)
3. 1 small sized cabbage (washed and cut into thin strips)
4. 300gm of minced chicken (seasoned with sea-salt)
5. 1/2 bulb of garlic (sliced into thin slices)
6. Sea-salt
7. Sunflower oil
8. 2 eggs (beaten)
9. Soya sauce (*optional)

1. Heat a wok and pour the sunflower oil into it once the wok is hot.

2. Add the garlic and stir-fry until slightly browned.

3. Add the minced chicken and fry until 90% cooked.

4. Break the minced chicken into fine pieces.

5. Add the cabbage and continue to stir-fry until chicken is thoroughly cooked and cabbage has softened.

6. Add the cooked rice and softened beehoon.

7. Pour the beaten eggs over the dish and add some sea-salt.
*If you want to season with soya sauce, you can add it at this point.

8. Continue to stir fry (mix everything up) and until the eggs are fully cooked.

9. Scoop up onto serving dish once everything is fully cooked.

10. Serve hot.

The Rice-Pot Version of Cabbage Chicken Soup

Ingredients:

1. 1 whole range-free (AND antibiotic-free) chicken (cut into 4 parts - skin removed)
2. 3 medium sized potatoes (skin removed and cut into 4 parts)
3. A handful of barley groats
4. 1 small cabbage head (washed and sliced into thin strips)
5. Sea-salt
6. Filtered water

--------------------------------------------------

1. Pour everything from 1 to 5 into a rice pot.

2. Fill the filtered water into the pot until everything is submerged or to the highest level permitted.

3. Boil for 2 hours.

4. Serve with brown rice noodles and a cooked egg.

Stir-Fried Cabbage with Garlic & Poppy Seeds

Ingredients:

1. 1 small organic cabbage head (washed and sliced into strips)
2. 2 garlic cloves (outer layer removed and sliced thinly)
3. A dash of poppy seeds
4. Sea-salt
5. Sunflower oil

-----------------------------------------------------

1. Heat a wok.

2. Pour about 2 tablespoons of sunflower oil into heated oil.

3. Add garlic into heated oil and stir fry until garlic is slightly browned.

4. Add cabbage, a dash of poppy seeds and sea-salt.

5. Stir all ingredients throughly and continue frying until cabbage has soften.

6. Scoop up onto serving plate and serve with hot rice.

Home-Made Cabbage+Chicken Nuggets!

Ingredients:

1. 500gm of minced chicken
2. 1 very small cabbage (washed and shredded into very small pieces)
3. 2 tablespoons of organic all-purpose flour
4. Sea-salt
5. Sunflower oil

1. In a large bowl, pour the minced chicken, shredded cabbage, organic all-purpose flour, *sea-salt and *sunflower oil.

*according to your taste

2. Mix all the ingredients thoroughly until it forms a paste.

3. Form nugget shapes from the paste and set aside.

4. Heat a frying pan/wok.

5. Once it is hot, pour some sunflower oil into it.

6. Stir-fry in batches. Once one side is cooked and slightly browned, turn the nuggets to the other side and continue frying.

7. Serve with warm rice.

A Salicylate-Free Meal

1st Dish
Baked fish with sea salt and sunflower oil

2nd Dish
Scrambled eggs with giant prawns (cooked with sea salt and sunflower oil) (*you can add big onions to the dish you are able to tolerate)

3rd Dish
Stir fried cabbage with sea salt and sunflower oil (*you can add garlic if you are able to tolerate)

4th Dish
Hot steaming rice!
