Day five's menu was fried rice with minced chicken, lettuce which I shredded into fine strips, garlic and shallots. And I garnished it with scrambled eggs. Result: Yummy to the tummy! :)
DAY SIX
I made chicken soup, shredded chicken cooked with salt, a bit of brown sugar, garlic and shallots and 'pak choy' vegetable for day six. I can't wait for day seven and I will be done with being salicylate-free where food is concerned! I want to eat my home-grown TOMATOES!!!!!!!!!!!! Hehehe...
Pak choy is moderate in salicylates. It can take up to 6 weeks to cleanse your system of salicylates, not just one week. Pepper is high in salicylates and tomato is very high.
ReplyDelete@fattiboomstix: I didn't know that pak choy is moderate in salicylates. Do you have a table where it states the level of salicylates of nai pak, kangkung, and all the other vegetables that we Aseans tend to eat more frequently? Thank you for leaving a comment. If you have anything to add, please feel free to do so.
